Yes I belong to SHARE. I have been to a few of their weekly meetings and they were really good. My husband came with but mostly for moral support. I think the meetings generally have a female audience. With my share group they have at least one meeting per year that is specifically for dads and then another that is specifically for siblings.

I haven’t been forever because, I’ll be honest with you, it scared me to death to hear about all of the things that had happened to other people. I hope to have another baby someday and it was really hard for me to hear all of other people’s experiences. I am a worrier and that made me really nervous. I went to our Share social and the walk to remember and LOVED them. They were fun.

I don’t know if that helps you at all. I really love what share does for people and I think their meetings are really cool. It might be good for you to “share” your thoughts and feelings with people who have been there before.

    Natalie,

I stumbled onto your blog today looking for things on child loss. I read your post Words of Wisdom. Though I don’t have any words of wisdom either I wanted to share with you my page on Facebook which is just a place for us to connect with others that are going through the loss of a child and to hopefully help and encourage each other. It’s Hope: Our journey through miscarriage, stillbirth, and SIDS (www.facebook.com/ourprecioushope).
My daughter, Hope, was stillborn almost 2 months ago and is why I started this page.
